Emanuel Cazan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Gervasio Santiago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Honorio Pinto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valer Teaşcă was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Honorio Pinto placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 15th minute, Honorio Pinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horaţiu Perșa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Gervasio Santiago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the AFC PunisherS™ defense, Honorio Pinto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valer Teaşcă. The AFC PunisherS™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valer Teaşcă should have stopped the shot. Club Atletico Lanus's Gervasio Santiago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horaţiu Perșa in the 23rd minute of play. Valer Teaşcă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Olivar, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Rufio in the 31st minute of play forced AFC PunisherS™'s goalkeeper Valer Teaşcă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gervasio Santiago didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 32nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. In the 39th minute, Jacobo Olivar made a precise shot to the right of Valer Teaşcă. AFC PunisherS™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. In the 42nd minute, Romeo Mara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valer Teaşcă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Pinto in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Rufio in the 46th minute of play forced AFC PunisherS™'s goalkeeper Valer Teaşcă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

58 minutes into the match, Clemente Bingen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valer Teaşcă. AFC PunisherS™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clemente Bingen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. AFC PunisherS™'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Rodolfo Rufio scored to the left of an out of position Valer Teaşcă, making the score, 2-5. Honorio Pinto in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Valer Teaşcă, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jacobo Olivar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tudor Sârban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Santiago having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Lanus's Rodolfo Rufio got a free kick in the 69th minute. Horaţiu Perșa took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gervasio Santiago. Gervasio Santiago dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-5. Guido Elia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Valer Teaşcă made a huge save. Valer Teaşcă made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Honorio Pinto sent off a good shot on target. Gervasio Santiago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horaţiu Perșa in the 85th minute of the match. Valer Teaşcă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Rufio in the 86th minute of play. Diego Montae kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the match was over Club Atletico Lanus could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AFC PunisherS™ throughout the match.
