Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alonzo Perez took the kick off in the first half of the match. ♦Diabetes♦'s Santiago Urtsin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iacob Praporgescu in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Alonzo Perez notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Marian Podgoreanu. Marian Podgoreanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marian Podgoreanu came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by ♦Diabetes♦'s Casimiro Jenaro. But to his dismay, Casimiro Jenaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 26th minute, Albino Fliz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marian Podgoreanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Alonzo Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Podgoreanu having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's zone, Alonzo Perez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marian Podgoreanu came out of the goal and Alonzo Perez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ezequiel Fidencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Iacob Praporgescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the ♦Diabetes♦ defense, Tudor Bărbânță kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santiago Urtsin. The ♦Diabetes♦ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santiago Urtsin should have stopped the shot. Marian Podgoreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Beltran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tudor Bărbânță made a kick off. When Ezequiel Fidencio came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the ♦Diabetes♦ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Fidencio couldn't finish the play. Santiago Urtsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Bărbânță in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, ♦Diabetes♦'s goalkeeper Santiago Urtsin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tudor Bărbânță. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Casimiro Jenaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. ♦Diabetes♦'s supporters rose to their feet, but Casimiro Jenaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marian Podgoreanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 63 minutes of play, ♦Diabetes♦'s Alonzo Perez made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marian Podgoreanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Alonzo Perez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marian Podgoreanu was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Alonzo Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Podgoreanu having to interfere. Tudor Bărbânță's late challenge caught a ♦Diabetes♦'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tudor Bărbânță helped the player get up and apologised. If Alonzo Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alonzo Perez succeeded in the game's 83rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-1. Casimiro Jenaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marian Podgoreanu having to make a save. Alonzo Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marian Podgoreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Fliz in the 92nd minute of play. When Haroldo Beltran came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the ♦Diabetes♦ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo Beltran couldn't finish the play.
