But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camillo Bocchi couldn't finish the play. In the 15th match minute, FC Mims was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrico Improta to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC Mims's Dario Marcucci got a free kick in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Bandelocos's Basílio de Mendonça sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armin Pozzo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camillo Bocchi got free with Alberto Palmeira in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39th match minute, FC Mims was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinando Egger to maneuver through the defense. Váldson Moreno's late challenge caught a FC Mims's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Váldson Moreno helped the player get up and apologised. Váldson Moreno hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Bandelocos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Camillo Bocchi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Zé Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The long shot by Dario Lepre in the 45th minute really tested Alberto Palmeira's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 46th minute, Tostão Tasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Camillo Bocchi made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camillo Bocchi in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alberto Palmeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Bianco Feltrin fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Mims's protests and gave Bianco Feltrin a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of FC Mims:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bandelocos:s goal. The referee gave Bandelocos a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Váldson Moreno, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Mims's Armin Pozzo. 2-1. In the 61st minute, Camillo Bocchi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd match minute, Bandelocos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilmar Neto to maneuver through the defense. Dario Lepre took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alberto Palmeira. Bandelocos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tostão Tasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armin Pozzo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fortunato Marulli in the 69th minute of play forced Bandelocos's goalkeeper Alberto Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
