In the 24th minute Conny Lennartsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muhammet Tomurcuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Hisingstads BK's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Tozun came free, but Bo Kilstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of HİSAR booed when Hisingstads BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Björkkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th match minute, HİSAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Tozun to maneuver through the defense. Mehmet Tozun showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mehmet Tozun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hisingstads BK's Ted Forsman got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th match minute, Hisingstads BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf Drake to maneuver through the defense. Rasim Ceri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Kilstedt having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Aytek Suavi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kamil Toktimur charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kamil Toktimur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Hisingstads BK booed when HİSAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kamil Toktimur didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Nicklas Skark took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Muhammet Tomurcuk to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicklas Skark in the 93rd minute of play forced HİSAR's goalkeeper Muhammet Tomurcuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Hisingstads BK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
