After 2 played minutes Zijdewind SC got a freekick which was hit by Jan ter Averst. After a rather tough play, Zijdewind SC's Christijan Booy got a free kick in the 7th minute. Mario Klompe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliverio Leonor in the 10th minute of play. Horacio Iglesias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Buskermolen in the 11th minute of play. Sjors Hoekstra received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Horacio Iglesias came out and tried to block the shot, but Sjors Hoekstra slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. Henrico Echavarri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Klompe having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Zijdewind SC's Geert Arend Jochemsen seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Geert Arend Jochemsen the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Zijdewind SC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Geert Arend Jochemsen had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zijdewind SC! In the 27thth minute of the game Sebastiano Torrienta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zijdewind SC's Mario Klompe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The VERDOLAGA CITY FC fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Sebastiano Torrienta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 32 minutes, Sebastiano Torrienta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastiano Torrienta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gooitzen Roswinkel charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gooitzen Roswinkel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 37 played minutes Zijdewind SC got a freekick which was hit by Gooitzen Roswinkel. In the 38th minute of the match Oliverio Leonor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mario Klompe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sjors Hoekstra made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, one of Zijdewind SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastiano Torrienta in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mario Klompe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sebastiano Torrienta came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mario Klompe could save by the left post. After 71st play minutes Henrico Echavarri shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Mario Klompe and just under the crossbar into goal. After 74 played minutes VERDOLAGA CITY FC got a freekick which was hit by Gutierrre Camacho. 81 minutes into the match, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jan ter Averst came free, but Horacio Iglesias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Zijdewind SC's goalkeeper Mario Klompe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastiano Torrienta. With a little luck, Zijdewind SC's Mario Klompe got control of the ball when Sebastiano Torrienta tried to sneak it across the goal line. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
