Spectators: 7696 (Terracing: 5773, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mischa Guibord kicked off to start the match. In the 7th match minute, FC Wil 1900 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Friedel Chalut to maneuver through the defense. Slawomir Zukowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yanic Kulenovic came out and tried to block the shot, but Slawomir Zukowski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. Kurzawka were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after FC Wil 1900's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leonard Gacki took the corner. Leonard Gacki made a great header on Kurzawka's corner, it was just that FC Wil 1900's Yanic Kulenovic managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Kurzawka's Robert Szel got a free kick in the 17th minute. Yanic Kulenovic was a little too slow when Slawomir Zukowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-1. Leonard Gacki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yanic Kulenovic made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Boleslaw Bykowski sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th minute of the match Kurzawka got a corner. FC Wil 1900's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leonard Gacki ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kurzawka's Leonard Gacki was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Yanic Kulenovic in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. FC Wil 1900's Yanic Kulenovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Slawomir Zukowski in the 34th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Przemyslaw Rutkowski in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yanic Kulenovic saved FC Wil 1900 from getting behind. Kurzawka's Artur Cwojdak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mischa Guibord in the 38th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Slawomir Zukowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yanic Kulenovic was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Slawomir Zukowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Slawomir Zukowski to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Silvan Feldmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Wil 1900's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kurzawka the free kick. Silvan Feldmann hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Slawomir Zukowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Yanic Kulenovic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Slawomir Zukowski sped through FC Wil 1900's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yanic Kulenovic. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Yanic Kulenovic, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Napoleon Dec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kurzawka's Leonard Gacki pulled a muscle in his leg after 67 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Silvan Feldmann was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Kurzawka's Cezary Rasialdo was substituted for Leonard Gacki. Silvan Feldmann hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute of the match Slawomir Zukowski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yanic Kulenovic showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Yanic Kulenovic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boleslaw Bykowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the FC Wil 1900 defense, Slawomir Zukowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yanic Kulenovic. The FC Wil 1900 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yanic Kulenovic should have stopped the shot. After 85 played minutes FC Wil 1900 got a freekick which was hit by Lucius Frank. 91 minutes into the game, Kurzawka's Boleslaw Bykowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yanic Kulenovic made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. In the 95th minute Boleslaw Bykowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanic Kulenovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Birchler's late challenge caught a Kurzawka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto Birchler helped the player get up and apologised.
