Feliciano Sanchez charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliciano Sanchez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 minutes, Maximiliano Teofilio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A Huracan and the FC St. Pauli players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20 played minutes C.A Huracan got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Teofilio. Maximiliano Teofilios short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Guilherme Mendonça to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. FC St. Pauli's Guilherme Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Arixo in the 32nd minute of play. C.A Huracan's Victorio Jurgi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Eduardo Trancoso in the 34th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Igor Domenec made a kick off. The C.A Huracan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 55 minutes into the game, Gernando Trevisan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC St. Pauli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A Huracan the free kick. After 55 played minutes FC St. Pauli got a freekick which was hit by Gernando Trevisan. FC St. Pauli's Guilherme Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Mirande in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Mirande in the 58th minute of play forced FC St. Pauli's goalkeeper Guilherme Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danilo Cavalcante might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victorio Jurgi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danilo Cavalcante ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Ospin's late challenge caught a FC St. Pauli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for C.A Huracan. Maximiliano Teofilio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Guilherme Mendonça. 4-2. Victorio Jurgi was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Lenílson Pombal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lenílson Pombal really showed his touch with that goal: 4-3. In the 82nd minute Maximiliano Teofilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Igor Domenec made a precise shot to the right of Guilherme Mendonça. FC St. Pauli's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Maximiliano Teofilio managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A Huracan's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Teofilio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guilherme Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adriano Berger struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Victorio Jurgi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal.
