After 5 minutes, Fredric Söderqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Robíño Football Club and the F.C CLUJ MEDICINA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute, one of Robíño Football Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Robíño Football Club. Robíño Football Club:s Lars-Erik Täman showed great skill when he stopped Aurel Blăjan:s penalty. Niklas Anderssons short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Claudiu Pușcașu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Claudiu Pușcașu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiph Wickander, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 15thth minute of the game Birger Karlstedt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Claudiu Pușcașu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Birger Karlstedt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Claudiu Pușcașu made a huge save. Lars-Erik Täman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigel Bulgar in the 21st minute of play. Claudiu Pușcașu made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Niklas Andersson sent off a good shot on target. Birger Karlstedts short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Claudiu Pușcașu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Robíño Football Club's Birger Karlstedt in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee showed Gigel Bulgar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gigel Bulgar hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Romeo Nițoi charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeo Nițoi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Romeo Nițoi got a free kick in the 52nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Birger Karlstedt in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudiu Pușcașu saved F.C CLUJ MEDICINA from getting behind. Per-Olof Jönsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurel Blăjan's late challenge caught a Robíño Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurel Blăjan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th match minute, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurel Blăjan to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Niklas Andersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gigel Bulgar was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 60th minute. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Aurel Blăjan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to F.C CLUJ MEDICINA getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Romeo Nițoi hit a great ball. When Robíño Football Club's Birger Karlstedt in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birger Karlstedt in the 79th minute of play forced F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalkeeper Claudiu Pușcașu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Birger Karlstedt in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudiu Pușcașu saved F.C CLUJ MEDICINA from getting behind. In the 80thth minute of the game Birger Karlstedt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Claudiu Pușcașu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 87th minute Niklas Jonsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudiu Pușcașu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudiu Pușcașu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niklas Jonsson went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Birger Karlstedt struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Claudiu Pușcașu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Robíño Football Club. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Birger Karlstedt in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudiu Pușcașu prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
