Bento Mendonça started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Per Trillkott was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Newcastle United F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Suprs Academia the free kick. After a rather tough play, Newcastle United F.C.'s Per Trillkott got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Renato Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvin Dalkvist in the 7th minute of play forced Suprs Academia's goalkeeper Gastão Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Suprs Academia's Gastão Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Greger Björklund in the 12th minute of play. Suprs Academia:s Gastão Camargo showed great skill when he stopped Eric Lustig:s penalty. Bento Mendonça could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Adrian Billberg made a huge save. In the 27th match minute, Suprs Academia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dércio Quirino to maneuver through the defense. Gastão Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvin Dalkvist in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute Nicolas Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Billberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Suprs Academia's goal looked a bit too open when Per Trillkott came free, but Gastão Camargo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, Newcastle United F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Ola Nordkvist to maneuver through the defense. Newcastle United F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nicolas Borges 35 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. In the 40th minute Per Trillkott shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gastão Camargo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gastão Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Greger Björklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Adrian Billberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 64 minutes into the match, Suprs Academia's goal looked a bit too open when Per Trillkott came free, but Gastão Camargo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Suprs Academia's goalkeeper Gastão Camargo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Greger Björklund. Gastão Camargo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arvin Dalkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the game, Suprs Academia's Leonardo Aragão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adrian Billberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Eric Lustig hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the game, Nicolas Borges cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Adrian Billberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jens-Ola Nordkvist took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gastão Camargo. Gastão Camargo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. The supporters of Newcastle United F.C. booed when Suprs Academia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dércio Quirino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Newcastle United F.C.'s Per Trillkott got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Newcastle United F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Suprs Academia.
