In the 3rd minute Forrest Hopkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rickard Dalström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th minute Calle Helberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Mitchell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rickard Dalström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Forrest Hopkins in the 6th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Hans Ladd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rickard Dalström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Forrest Hopkins made a precise shot to the right of Rickard Dalström. Björnlunda IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to Björnlunda IF getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Calle Helberg hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Hans Ladd notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Björnlunda IF's Rickard Dalström. Rickard Dalström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute of the match Jens-Erik Hård sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jim Mitchell skillfully saved the ball. In the 19th minute, Lawrence Smart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rickard Dalström came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Santos FC's Kris Marks. But to his dismay, Kris Marks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kris Marks in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rickard Dalström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes into the game, Louis Ragland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Björnlunda IF the free kick. Louis Ragland hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Björnlunda IF's Klas Lundgren got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Rickard Dalström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kris Marks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 played minutes Santos FC got a freekick which was hit by Jamar Maxwell. Calle Helberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Mitchell having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kris Marks in the 42nd minute of play forced Björnlunda IF's goalkeeper Rickard Dalström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rickard Dalström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Forrest Hopkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rickard Dalström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kris Marks in the 45th minute of the match. Calle Helberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Kris Marks made the kick off in the second half. When Calle Helberg fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Björnlunda IF's protests and gave Calle Helberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th match minute, Björnlunda IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calle Helberg to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, Desmond Rowell notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Björnlunda IF's Rickard Dalström. Rickard Dalström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Santos FC's Jamar Maxwell got a free kick in the 66th minute. Calle Helberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jim Mitchell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rickard Dalström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Ladd in the 70th minute of the match. During the 72nd minute of the match Calle Helberg completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Calle Helberg a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 74th minute, Forrest Hopkins fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Kris Marks's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Rickard Dalström skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Klas Lundgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Jim Mitchell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kris Marks came free with the goalkeeper in the 89th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rickard Dalström could save by the left post. Rickard Dalström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lawrence Smart in the 94th minute. Rickard Dalström was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Forrest Hopkins capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Forrest Hopkins really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Santos FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
