Genaro Ciano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 8 minutes into the game, Mosalam Al Mulaifi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Golden Tigers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Teodelina FC the free kick. Mosalam Al Mulaifi hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Humberto Remicio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Mansour Al Ramzi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mansour Al Ramzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Ganix in the 11th minute of the match. In the 19th minute of the match, Vladimiro Azibar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mansour Al Ramzi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 21st minute Talib Al Enzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Mateus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergio Conrao kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. A collision led to Golden Tigers getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Dhari Al Mansor hit a great ball. After 30 played minutes Teodelina FC got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Remicio. Teodelina FC's Alvaro Mateus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Al Hajraf in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute Faris Al Shati shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Mateus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Teodelina FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Hermengildo Sol hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Humberto Remicio was the one to do the kick off. Talib Al Enzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 63 played minutes Golden Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Basem Al Baghli. Vladimiro Azibar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mansour Al Ramzi. Golden Tigers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 71 minutes, Hamzah Al Dowaisan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Tigers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamzah Al Dowaisan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute Genaro Ciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mansour Al Ramzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Basem Al Baghli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Humberto Remicio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mansour Al Ramzi was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. After 84 played minutes Teodelina FC got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Ganix. The Teodelina FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
