In the 7th minute of the match, Clive Chien-Kwan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 彭海朗 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of 延边朝鲜族足球俱乐部 booed when Oakham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Phua didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute of the match Wei Xuan Politiek sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but 彭海朗 skillfully saved the ball. Wei Xuan Politiek hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute of the match 麦朗誉 shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rifqi Choo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 26th minute, Oakham's Clive Chien-Kwan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Mark Devan struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. 彭海朗 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oakham. 彭海朗 came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Oakham's Bryan Hong. But to his dismay, Bryan Hong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 38 minutes into the match, Oakham's goal looked a bit too open when 龚浩南 came free, but Rifqi Choo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Clive Chien-Kwan took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for 彭海朗 to make any attempt to save it. 46 minutes into the game, 毛辉彬 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Rifqi Choo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 毛辉彬 to strike the kick off in the second half. 毛辉彬 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Rifqi Choo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 61 minutes into the match, Mark Devan notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of 延边朝鲜族足球俱乐部's 彭海朗. 彭海朗 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 彭海朗 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clive Chien-Kwan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clive Chien-Kwan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. 彭海朗 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Bryan Hong ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 彭海朗 was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. 江康银 kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match.
