After a defensive mix-up in Leones FC's zone, Yaroslav Samsonov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltasar Meder came out of the goal and Yaroslav Samsonov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artem Elizavetin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matias Montes went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Artem Elizavetin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Montes, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After 85 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Cresconio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudolf Kurdyukov in the 89th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Baltasar Meder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Edgardo Calvino got a free kick in the 90th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Leones FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
