Eberhard Dost started the match with the kick off. Eike Bock hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Lemmy Stecher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moise Zgîrţa in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Per Anhalter notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC MeHigh's Codrin Cucerdean. Codrin Cucerdean was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. David Medeleanu hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Eike Bock took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Codrin Cucerdean. FC MeHigh's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lemmy Stecher came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by FC MeHigh's Moise Zgîrţa. But to his dismay, Moise Zgîrţa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Phoenix Wienecke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alin Ionescu hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Codrin Cucerdean was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eberhard Dost showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 33 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sorin Vulpe in the 40th minute of play forced 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's goalkeeper Lemmy Stecher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 played minutes 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz got a freekick which was hit by Per Anhalter. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manuel Nicolescu to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Lemmy Stecher managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when FC MeHigh's Valentin Strungă fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moise Zgîrţa in the 53rd minute of play forced 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's goalkeeper Lemmy Stecher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 53 played minutes 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz got a freekick which was hit by Danko Steidl. Lemmy Stecher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sorin Vulpe in the 56th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC MeHigh's Manuel Nicolescu got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute of the match Benni Hinz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Codrin Cucerdean skillfully saved the ball. Reinhold Reinbold took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Codrin Cucerdean. FC MeHigh's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eberhard Dost in the 62nd minute of play forced FC MeHigh's goalkeeper Codrin Cucerdean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Adrian Ţăranu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moise Zgîrţa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Lemmy Stecher made a huge save. The supporters of FC MeHigh booed when 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benni Hinz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Manuel Nicolescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lemmy Stecher. That made the score 2-3 in the 83 minute of play. Lemmy Stecher came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by FC MeHigh's Moise Zgîrţa. But to his dismay, Moise Zgîrţa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. 96 minutes into the game, Phoenix Wienecke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC MeHigh the free kick. The supporters of FC MeHigh booed when 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Phoenix Wienecke didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC MeHigh played a much better game than 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz and deserved their victory. The 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
