Amadeo Aguirre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elazar Dighero in the 9th minute of play. In the 12th minute Cecilio Izel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Ramon Elguea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 minutes of play, Yaji FC's Cecilio Izel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jose Ramon Elguea was left in no man's land by his defense there! 19 minutes into the match, Jonas Lalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jose Ramon Elguea. C.F. Leftraro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonas Lalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Jose Ramon Elguea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Ferrer, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The Yaji FC fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Yaji FC's Jimeno Montrel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Elazar Dighero's late challenge caught a Yaji FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elazar Dighero helped the player get up and apologised. After 41 played minutes C.F. Leftraro got a freekick which was hit by Elazar Dighero. After a rather tough play, Yaji FC's Eduardo Ferrer got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cecilio Izel to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, C.F. Leftraro's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Jenaro came free, but Jose Ramon Elguea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Yaji FC's Rogelio Jenaro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jose Ramon Elguea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Rollo Trucios kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Hugo Orlando Mundaca's late challenge caught a Yaji FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Orlando Mundaca helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Yaji FC booed when C.F. Leftraro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Orlando Mundaca didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Melchor Estefan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jose Ramon Elguea. That made the score 0-5 in the 79 minute of play. Amadeo Aguirre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elazar Dighero in the 90th minute of play. The C.F. Leftraro supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Yaji FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Yaji FC.
