Spectators: 7771 (Terracing: 5829, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 155) In the 3rd minute, Pilar FC's Ramiro Bertran ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eusébio Baptista. Eusébio Baptista yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 7th minute Didi Mattos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Cordairo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pilar FC's zone, Duda Alagoano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Cordairo came out of the goal and Duda Alagoano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Nicolas Gregory fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pilar FC's protests and gave Nicolas Gregory a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pilar FC's Nicolas Gregory got a free kick in the 19th minute. 24 minutes into the game, Ramiro Bertran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Eusébio Baptista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jose Galindo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Eusébio Baptista made a huge save. Silvio Cordairo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute Waldir Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Cordairo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvio Cordairo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Federico Truylos during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Federico Truylos kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Waldir Macedo notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Pilar FC's Silvio Cordairo. Silvio Cordairo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 47 minutes into the match, Maurinho Amaral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvio Cordairo. Pilar FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maurinho Amaral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Didi Mattos to strike the kick off in the second half. Eusébio Baptista came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Pilar FC's Ramiro Bertran. But to his dismay, Ramiro Bertran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Pilar FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Maurinho Amaral scored to the left of an out of position Silvio Cordairo, making the score, 3-3. Floresta Club U18's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Waldir Macedo in the 71st minute. The corner led Floresta Club U18's Waldir Macedo to fire away a dangerous shot which Silvio Cordairo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Pilar FC's Silvio Cordairo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldir Macedo in the 78th minute of play. Eusébio Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Gregory, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Pilar FC's Silvio Cordairo got control of the ball when Waldir Macedo tried to sneak it across the goal line.
