Natã Neves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Oliverio Mendiune made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Ique Football Club's Oliverio Mendiune threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hamílton Vieira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 17th minute, Paulo-Henrique Ganso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Oliverio Mendiune. The goal made the score 2-0. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Hamílton Vieira sped through RamPa Football Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Oliverio Mendiune. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo-Henrique Ganso in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oliverio Mendiune saved RamPa Football Club from getting behind. After some careless play in the RamPa Football Club defense, Natã Neves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oliverio Mendiune. The RamPa Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oliverio Mendiune should have stopped the shot. In the 33rd minute, Hamílton Vieira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute Natã Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliverio Mendiune saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliverio Mendiune showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo-Henrique Ganso in the 37th minute of the match. Luciano Vasconcelos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 40 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ique Football Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Ique Football Club's Naldo Brito was substituted for Noel Tavares. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leobardo Ontaneda to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Ique Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naldo Brito to maneuver through the defense. After 62 minutes, Carlos Salgado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ique Football Club and the RamPa Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ique Football Club getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Carlos Salgado hit a great ball. Leobardo Ontaneda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Salgado hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo José da Costa in the 71st minute of play forced RamPa Football Club's goalkeeper Oliverio Mendiune to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, RamPa Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo José da Costa came free, but Oliverio Mendiune reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. RamPa Football Club's Oliverio Mendiune played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo José da Costa in the 77th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Paulo José da Costa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ique Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Christiano Azevedo scored 8-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oliverio Mendiune, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Oliverio Mendiune showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natã Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Ique Football Club's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
