When the match had been going on for 47 minutes, ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Pastor Salamon got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Marco Marquez. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Marco Marquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque James, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Sagarana Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafael Leoncio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Cleiton Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Efrain Panfilo during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marco Marquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque James in the 96th minute of the match.
