Spectators: 6349 (Terracing: 5849, Seating: 345, VIP seats: 155) Marlin FC's Fidel Emenon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Marlin FC's Maximo Errapel got a free kick in the 4th minute. Waldo Hills came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Marlin FC's Fidel Emenon. But to his dismay, Fidel Emenon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Modesto Adrio during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Marlin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Adrio to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the game, Anier Eufrasio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marlin FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Patoruzu the free kick. After a rather tough play, Marlin FC's Anier Eufrasio got a free kick in the 16th minute. Connor Presley in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabian Bazil, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 18th minute Geoff Ackerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Bazil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerardo Calisto hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Calvin Rodriguez during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Marlin FC booed when Atlético Patoruzu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calvin Rodriguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabian Bazil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Connor Presley, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute, Geoff Ackerman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute of the match Modesto Adrio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Waldo Hills showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Waldo Hills showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Emenon, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. If Geoff Ackerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Connor Presley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Geoff Ackerman hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Fidel Emenon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldo Hills having to interfere. Fabian Bazil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tyrell Cochran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Bazil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tyrell Cochran in the 57th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Oscar Bermund dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Waldo Hills, 0-2. In the 70th minute Paulo Madaleno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldo Hills saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Tyrell Cochran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabian Bazil was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Fabian Bazil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Connor Presley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Waldo Hills made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Emenon in the 87th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Atlético Patoruzu's goalkeeper Waldo Hills had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerardo Calisto. Gerardo Calisto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marlin FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
