Matias Tagliamonte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Baladi in the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Nicanor Pacho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belfegor FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gastres FC the free kick. After 6 played minutes Belfegor FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Pacho. After 12 played minutes Belfegor FC got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Eliu. In the 26th minute, Aurelio Baladi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matias Tagliamonte was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Baladi in the 34th minute of play forced Belfegor FC's goalkeeper Matias Tagliamonte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Belfegor FC booed when Gastres FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Bernad didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute, Conrado Eliu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gastres FC's Amador Iratxo didn't even have to move. After 40 played minutes Belfegor FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Pacho. A collision led to Gastres FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Jacinto Manni hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Cirilo Moise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aurelio Baladi made a kick off. A collision led to Gastres FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Manuel Bernad hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Eder in the 52nd minute of play forced Gastres FC's goalkeeper Amador Iratxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Gastres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Ofelio came free, but Amador Iratxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, David Calvino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gastres FC's supporters rose to their feet, but David Calvino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matias Tagliamonte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Belfegor FC's Feliciano Baristo was substituted for Conrado Eliu. After 63 played minutes Gastres FC got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Matthew. 69 minutes into the game, Aurelio Baladi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Matias Tagliamonte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 73 minutes into the match, Gastres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Cordearo came free, but Amador Iratxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the game, Gastres FC's David Calvino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matias Tagliamonte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 82nd match minute, Gastres FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Emenon to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Nicanor Pacho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amador Iratxo. Gastres FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicanor Pacho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Amador Iratxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Cordearo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gastres FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Belfegor FC's much stronger midfield.
