After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Antoine Burrell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Knights FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Antoine Burrell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frank Catarinense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Black Knights FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Mathews in the 20th minute of play forced ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s goalkeeper Frank Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Mathews in the 21st minute of play. Antony Kelley hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Rodriguinho Nascimento notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Black Knights FC's Salvador Pack. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Frank Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoine Burrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Black Knights FC were victorious despite being under pressure from ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ for much of the match.
