Spectators: 7750 (Terracing: 5814, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Douglas Robertson started the match with the kick off. Conrado Linares made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Douglas Robertson sent off a good shot on target. Walter Dale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedé Dante in the 6th minute of play. After 9 played minutes EL LOBO DE MIAMI got a freekick which was hit by Tracey Hodges. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Walter Dale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedé Dante in the 10th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Dedé Dante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibirama Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Dedé Dante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walter Dale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Walter Dale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin Loyola in the 14th minute of play. Edson Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Dale having to interfere. After a rather tough play, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Rolf Huffman got a free kick in the 21st minute. After 24 played minutes Ibirama Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Castro. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucien Simon in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conrado Linares saved Ibirama Futebol Clube from getting behind. Dênis Terra hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Conrado Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucien Simon in the 35th minute of the match. After 37 played minutes EL LOBO DE MIAMI got a freekick which was hit by Renato Corey. Tracey Hodges charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tracey Hodges the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd minute, Dedé Dante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walter Dale was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Lucien Simon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Linares having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dedé Dante was the one to do the kick off. Rafa Rossi hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kareem Kuhn during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th minute, Kareem Kuhn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Walter Dale was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Maurício Queirós. Conrado Linares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucien Simon went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 70th match minute, EL LOBO DE MIAMI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thaddeus Thomson to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 71 minutes, Dênis Terra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibirama Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dênis Terra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dênis Terra hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Lucien Simon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute of the game, Edson Salgado landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After a rather tough play, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Thaddeus Thomson got a free kick in the 80th minute. Dênis Terra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Walter Dale made a huge save. During the 93rd minute of the match Ismael Castro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ismael Castro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Ibirama Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ismael Castro hit a great ball. 97 minutes into the match, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Douglas Robertson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Conrado Linares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Ibirama Futebol Clube players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented EL LOBO DE MIAMI from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
