A collision led to Dogelo getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. José Pedro Catarinense hit a great ball. Isaac Tajo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Zanette in the 6th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Israel Odilon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th match minute, Palermo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Guerau to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Percy Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Pedro Catarinense kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Palermo AFC's goalkeeper Isaac Tajo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 29thth minute of the game Donato Nogueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palermo AFC's Isaac Tajo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isaac Tajo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrick Freitas's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrick Freitas in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaac Tajo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 44 minutes into the match, Dogelo's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Aguirre came free, but Hudson de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patrick Freitas made a kick off. Hudson de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Ur in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 minutes of play, Palermo AFC's Vladimiro Aguirre made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hudson de Medeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauricio Ur during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Dogelo booed when Palermo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Ur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaac Tajo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Zanette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 73 played minutes Dogelo got a freekick which was hit by Donato Nogueira. If Michel Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Donato Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 78 played minutes Palermo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Ur. In the 82nd minute, José Pedro Catarinense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Dogelo getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Arí Custódio hit a great ball. Hudson de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Aguirre in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Palermo AFC's Ismael Ur got a free kick in the 90th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Palermo AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dogelo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
