The supporters of F.C.BARLAD booed when Independente FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilmar Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Independente FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Alexandre Cabral hit a great ball. Diego Martins made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Ferdinand Simionescu sent off a good shot on target. 7 minutes into the match, Ferdinand Simionescu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Diego Martins, 1-0. Diego Martins acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 14th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sebastian Manafu. Sebastian Manafu kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, F.C.BARLAD's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Gonçalves came free, but Bogdan Gurgui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Eusebiu Frățilă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Diego Martins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusebiu Frățilă got free with Diego Martins in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the game, Ferdinand Simionescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C.BARLAD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Independente FC the free kick. After 46 played minutes F.C.BARLAD got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinand Simionescu. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilberto Gonçalves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Independente FC's Diego Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebiu Frățilă in the 51st minute of play. Eusebiu Frățilă took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diego Martins. Diego Martins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After 58 played minutes F.C.BARLAD got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinand Simionescu. Gilberto Gonçalves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Bogdan Gurgui made a huge save. Diego Martins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusebiu Frățilă went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 68 minutes into the match, Gilberto Gonçalves dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bogdan Gurgui, 5-1. Gilberto Gonçalves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bogdan Gurgui read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. After 73 played minutes F.C.BARLAD got a freekick which was hit by Eusebiu Frățilă. A hard shot 74 in the game by Gilberto Gonçalves from a close distance when the talented Bogdan Gurgui managed to make a qualified save. F.C.BARLAD's players were relieved. In the 77th minute, Eusebiu Frățilă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rareș Vârlan's late challenge caught a Independente FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rareș Vârlan helped the player get up and apologised. Independente FC made a substitution. Dadá Messias replaced José Carlos Tepedino. After 80 played minutes F.C.BARLAD got a freekick which was hit by Rareș Vârlan. A collision led to Independente FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Nilmar Rosa hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Independente FC defense, Octav Ţintea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diego Martins. The Independente FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diego Martins should have stopped the shot. In the 94th minute, Eusebiu Frățilă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Marco Monteiro fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Independente FC's protests and gave Marco Monteiro a yellow card for diving instead. Marco Monteiro hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
