Dimitris Rachiotis started the match with the kick off. Jacobo Orlo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rebelution's Jacobo Orlo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Dentsas in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th minute Dimitris Rachiotis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Orlo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Rebelution defense, Babbis Tsaousis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Orlo. The Rebelution fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Orlo should have stopped the shot. The supporters of GREEN PANTHERS FC booed when Rebelution was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Tomi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th match minute, Rebelution was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Corderall to maneuver through the defense. Dimitris Rachiotis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jacobo Orlo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severino Peruxu made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severino Peruxu during the 55th minute. Babbis Tsaousis came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jacobo Orlo could save by the left post. In the 71st minute, Babbis Tsaousis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GREEN PANTHERS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. In the 75th minute, Babbis Tsaousis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jacobo Orlo. The goal made the score 1-6. Jacobo Orlo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Rachiotis in the 79th minute of the match. GREEN PANTHERS FC's Fragiskos Saitiotis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Peruxu in the 80th minute of play. Panos Kostantelos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fragiskos Saitiotis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Peruxu in the 83rd minute of the match. Panos Kostantelos kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the match was over GREEN PANTHERS FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rebelution throughout the match.
