After a rather tough play, PIRATAS TFP's Waldemar Maranhense got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Ambrosio Taurino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute, Wilfredo Charro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When PIRATAS TFP's Haroldo Branco in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Deportivo Pergamino's goalie prevented a goal. 17 minutes into the match, Norberto Cucao had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laerte Brasil. PIRATAS TFP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Norberto Cucao was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Eduardo Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Laerte Brasil to make any attempt to save it. Teodoro Che struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Laerte Brasil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Pergamino. 25 minutes into the match, PIRATAS TFP's goalkeeper Laerte Brasil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norberto Cucao. Ambrosio Taurino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Laerte Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute Norberto Cucao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laerte Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, PIRATAS TFP's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Cucao came free, but Laerte Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norberto Cucao had several of the PIRATAS TFP's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 37 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Laerte Brasil as he didn't even see the shot coming. Isaltino Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Aresti having to interfere. Deportivo Pergamino's Eduardo Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

After 52 minutes of play, Deportivo Pergamino's Ambrosio Taurino made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laerte Brasil was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Sancho in the 55th minute of play forced PIRATAS TFP's goalkeeper Laerte Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Norberto Cucao ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laerte Brasil was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Laerte Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Cucao, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Deportivo Pergamino made a substitution. Victorino Piorno replaced Eduardo Sancho. Délio Figueiredo kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Norberto Cucao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laerte Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PIRATAS TFP's Laerte Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Piorno in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Norberto Cucao cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Laerte Brasil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Laerte Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Cucao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Haroldo Branco came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the PIRATAS TFP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo Branco couldn't finish the play. Laerte Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Cucao, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 91st match minute, Deportivo Pergamino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Taurino to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute, Mané Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaudencio Matro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Laerte Brasil. PIRATAS TFP's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
