Everardo Francho came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Nevşehirspor's Tanju Çolak. But to his dismay, Tanju Çolak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Los Hornos's Paulo Opilano in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nevşehirspor's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Nevşehirspor booed when Los Hornos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Cristofor didn't get a good kick on the ball. İrfan-Can Eğribayat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Opilano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th match minute, Nevşehirspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Necati Türkol to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes in the game Rahim Özkurt did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Boğaçhan Kutberk. In the 31stth minute of the game Tanju Çolak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Hornos's Everardo Francho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Paulo Opilano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. İrfan-Can Eğribayat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Los Hornos's Freddy Cristofor in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Los Hornos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Opilano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Los Hornos made a substitution. Marciano Tanio replaced Leopoldo Gaitano.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulu Şavat made a kick off. Paulo Opilano might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over İrfan-Can Eğribayat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Opilano ran back to his position shaking his head. When Tanju Çolak came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Nevşehirspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tanju Çolak couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Nevşehirspor's Mustafa Necati Türkol got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute, Freddy Cristofor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute Paulo Opilano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İrfan-Can Eğribayat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Everardo Francho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanju Çolak, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tanju Çolak in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Everardo Francho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Paulo Opilano came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Los Hornos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Opilano couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Nevşehirspor getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. İbrahim Pektürk hit a great ball. Paulo Opilano kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Los Hornos players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
