After 85 minutes of play, Merusca F&P's Carlos Fernando Luz made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodney Church was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute Edmílson Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodney Church saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Memphis Grizzlies's Huey Medley got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Rodney Church took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinho Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
