After some careless play in the Mestre GG defense, Eusebio Gorosti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raúl de Amaral. The Mestre GG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raúl de Amaral should have stopped the shot. Tiago Matorin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Apolo Quilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romário Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th match minute, Cable a Tierra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Lucila to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute of the match Tiago Matorin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Apolo Quilo skillfully saved the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Fiori Campidelis notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Cable a Tierra's Apolo Quilo. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chiquinho Sergipano made a kick off. If Tiago Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Lucila's late challenge caught a Mestre GG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto Lucila helped the player get up and apologised. After 69 played minutes Cable a Tierra got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Lucila. Cable a Tierra's Generoso Tavio was substituted for Feliberto Oxarra. The supporters of Mestre GG booed when Cable a Tierra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Lucila didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 played minutes Cable a Tierra got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Lugo. If Romário Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Quilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fiori Campidelis in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Mestre GG's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Gorosti came free, but Raúl de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gildo Sá received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Apolo Quilo came out and tried to block the shot, but Gildo Sá slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 93rd minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mestre GG walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
