After some careless play in the Rovine Craiova defense, Cayetano Gaitano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cezar Ghinescu. The Rovine Craiova fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cezar Ghinescu should have stopped the shot. In the 14th minute Dacian Patrichi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Lluis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Gane in the 21st minute of play forced Boxitracio FC's goalkeeper Isidoro Lluis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 played minutes Boxitracio FC got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Dimo. Boxitracio FC's Isidoro Lluis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matei Nasta in the 32nd minute of play. Isidoro Lluis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dacian Patrichi in the 34th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angel Izotz during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Angel Izotz hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the game, Iordache Moisescu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Boxitracio FC's Teofilo Dimo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Angel Izotz got his second yellow card in the match during the 39th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Angel Izotz hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The supporters of Boxitracio FC booed when Rovine Craiova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matei Nasta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cezar Ghinescu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 48th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Diego Piarres. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romeo Ubarna made a kick off. After 56 played minutes Rovine Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Mihnea Măcriș. Cezar Ghinescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Piarres, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Boxitracio FC's Martin Cordario was substituted for Jesus Fero. In the 60th minute, Nistor Pătran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidoro Lluis made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Dacian Patrichi sent off a good shot on target. Cezar Ghinescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Ubarna, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute of the match Boxitracio FC got a corner. Rovine Craiova's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Diego Piarres ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Boxitracio FC's corner Diego Piarres fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cezar Ghinescu quite easily take care of the ball. After 75 played minutes Boxitracio FC got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Dimo. Cayetano Gaitano kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Isidoro Lluis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Isidoro Lluis came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Rovine Craiova's Jerry Gane. But to his dismay, Jerry Gane quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Diego Piarres hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
