After 7 played minutes Tala Bosques del Jaure got a freekick which was hit by Xalbador Reguilon. In the 9th minute Östen Vennersten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lamberto Cañon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Tala Bosques del Jaure's goal looked a bit too open when Pete Sampras came free, but Lamberto Cañon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Greger Broberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Kaiet Davalillo fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tala Bosques del Jaure's protests and gave Kaiet Davalillo a yellow card for diving instead. Kaiet Davalillo hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Aron Dahlbom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xalbador Reguilon in the 44th minute. Lamberto Cañon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pete Sampras, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andre Agassi was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, MAFFIAN's Pete Sampras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lamberto Cañon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 53rd match minute, Tala Bosques del Jaure was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jurgi Pieres to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute of the match Vincent Linberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lamberto Cañon skillfully saved the ball. In the 56thth minute of the game Mats Wilander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tala Bosques del Jaure's Lamberto Cañon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martino Giral in the 57th minute of play forced MAFFIAN's goalkeeper Aron Dahlbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Östen Vennersten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th match minute, MAFFIAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Östen Vennersten to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Andre Agassi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lamberto Cañon. That made the score 0-1 in the 66 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Pete Sampras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lamberto Cañon was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. In the 70th minute MAFFIAN were awarded a corner. Vincent Linberg went to the cornerflag to take it. Arixo Oliva's late challenge caught a MAFFIAN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arixo Oliva helped the player get up and apologised. If Xalbador Reguilon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Tala Bosques del Jaure's goal looked a bit too open when Vincent Linberg came free, but Lamberto Cañon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mats Wilander during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Mats Wilander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xalbador Reguilon in the 84th minute of play forced MAFFIAN's goalkeeper Aron Dahlbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xalbador Reguilon took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aron Dahlbom. Aron Dahlbom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Aron Dahlbom came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Tala Bosques del Jaure's Xalbador Reguilon. But to his dismay, Xalbador Reguilon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Yoel Nueva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tala Bosques del Jaure's supporters rose to their feet, but Yoel Nueva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aron Dahlbom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Tala Bosques del Jaure getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Yoel Nueva hit a great ball. Tala Bosques del Jaure's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
