Rogério Alcântara hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nilson Paraibano got free with Edson Bertassi in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Daniel Alcântara fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's protests and gave Daniel Alcântara a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th match minute, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. Beto Cavalcante's late challenge caught a Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beto Cavalcante helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Carrapichel - FDFDF getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Beto Cavalcante hit a great ball. Nilson Paraibano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Edson Bertassi made a huge save. After 20 minutes, Fernandinho Sá mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rondinone F.C - FDFDF and the Carrapichel - FDFDF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Carrapichel - FDFDF booed when Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernandinho Sá didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rômulo de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Fernandes in the 22nd minute of play. Daniel Alcântara hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Rômulo de Almeida didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abel de Barros went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Carrapichel - FDFDF's Edson Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbson Prata in the 29th minute of play. Rômulo de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Fernandinho Sá was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 40 minutes had been played. Fernandinho Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Rômulo de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Acácio Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nilson Paraibano to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amauri Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Rogério Alcântara shot from long distance in the 53rd minute, but Rômulo de Almeida was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Rômulo de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel de Barros in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Carrapichel - FDFDF's Rogério Alcântara got a free kick in the 61st minute. Carrapichel - FDFDF made a substitution. Róbson Melo replaced Tony Dias. Carrapichel - FDFDF's Allan de Lara was substituted for David Fernandes. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Jailson Almeida was substituted for Amauri Barros. After 62 played minutes Carrapichel - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Alcântara. Edson Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilson Paraibano in the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan de Lara in the 71st minute of play forced Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goalkeeper Rômulo de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Carrapichel - FDFDF's Allan de Lara ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rômulo de Almeida. Rômulo de Almeida yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Acácio Neto came free with the goalkeeper in the 79th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rômulo de Almeida could save by the left post. In the 80th minute of the match Carrapichel - FDFDF got a corner. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rogério Alcântara ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Rogério Alcântara got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rômulo de Almeida quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Rômulo de Almeida got control of the ball when Acácio Neto tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Acácio Neto took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Rômulo de Almeida to make any attempt to save it. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Acácio Neto scored to the left of an out of position Rômulo de Almeida, making the score, 0-4. Rômulo de Almeida made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Acácio Neto sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Acácio Neto got free with Rômulo de Almeida in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Carrapichel - FDFDF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
