The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ferenc Puskás to strike the kick off in the second half. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Delmiro Raebert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thierry Henry in the 53rd minute of play. Amancio Gaizkine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Carlos Britto having to interfere. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Santo Ciceron got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pragmáticos 1903's Zé Carlos Britto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Barbosa in the 59th minute of play. Freddy Terciero lost his temper 62 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card.
