When Nuno Rosado fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's protests and gave Nuno Rosado a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Daniel Alcântara got a free kick in the 78th minute. Róbson Prata could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Delmiro Raebert made a huge save. Rômulo de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Abecia in the 93rd minute of play. Nuno Donato charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nuno Donato the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 94th minute, Nuno Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
