Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Rômulo de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thierry Henry in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pragmáticos 1903's goalkeeper Zé Carlos Britto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 5 minutes Pragmáticos 1903's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Róbson Prata who took care of the corner kick. 10 minutes into the match, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goalkeeper Rômulo de Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thierry Henry. In the 14th match minute, Pragmáticos 1903 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tião Maia to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Daniel Alcântara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd minute Daniel Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Carlos Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rômulo de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferenc Puskás in the 25th minute of the match. Zé Carlos Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilson Paraibano, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 37 minutes, Ferenc Puskás mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pragmáticos 1903 and the Rondinone F.C - FDFDF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 37 played minutes Pragmáticos 1903 got a freekick which was hit by Ferenc Puskás. In the 38th minute, Nilson Paraibano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pragmáticos 1903's attentive Tião Maia managed to snatch the ball when Amauri Barros made a throw-in in the 40th minute of the game. Rômulo de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thierry Henry in the 41st minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Daniel Alcântara notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Pragmáticos 1903's Zé Carlos Britto. Zé Carlos Britto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thierry Henry got free with Rômulo de Almeida in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The wind increased when Nilson Paraibano made the kick off in the second half. Rômulo de Almeida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thierry Henry's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 56th minute Thierry Henry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. When Pragmáticos 1903's Thierry Henry in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Róbson Prata was slow to take the kick. During this time Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's corner Róbson Prata fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zé Carlos Britto quite easily take care of the ball. In the 90th minute Nilson Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Carlos Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nilson Paraibanos short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Zé Carlos Britto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pragmáticos 1903's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
