Rômulo de Almeida was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and David Fernandes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. David Fernandes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 24th minute Róbson Prata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edson Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 played minutes Carrapichel - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Alcântara. Róbson Prata was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 27th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 28th minute, Tony Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Acácio Neto came free, but Rômulo de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Fernandinho Sá got a free kick in the 46th minute.

When Jailson Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Rondinone F.C - FDFDF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jailson Almeida couldn't finish the play. Edson Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Rosado in the 92nd minute of the match. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
