Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, Ethan Velazquez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Valadas getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Joel Quintela hit a great ball. Ethan Velazquez made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Nuno Cunha sent off a good shot on target. Takeshi Schims sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Nuno Cunha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ethan Velazquez was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute of the match Valadas got a corner. Changsha FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nuno Cunha ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 23 minutes of play, Valadas's Nuno Cunha made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ethan Velazquez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ethan Velazquez made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Nuno Cunha sent off a good shot on target. Takeshi Schims sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 34 minutes of play, Valadas's Nuno Cunha made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ethan Velazquez was left in no man's land by his defense there! 36 minutes into the match, Nuno Cunha notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Changsha FC's Ethan Velazquez. Ethan Velazquez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the last second Ethan Velazquez throw himself and got hold of the ball when Takeshi Schims in the 40thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The supporters of Valadas booed when Changsha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baiardo Toyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Takeshi Schims's late challenge caught a Changsha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Takeshi Schims helped the player get up and apologised. Ethan Velazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nuno Cunha to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Valadas's Humberto Lencastre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ethan Velazquez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ethan Velazquez came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Valadas's Nuno Cunha. But to his dismay, Nuno Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Changsha FC's Ethan Velazquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Cunha in the 62nd minute of play. Baiardo Toyo kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Timothy Cohen might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Timothy Cohen ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Changsha FC's Timothy Cohen got a free kick in the 68th minute. The supporters of Changsha FC booed when Valadas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Lencastre didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Pritchett got free with Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ethan Velazquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Cunha in the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Manuel Valido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valadas's Normando Severo was substituted for Humberto Lencastre. Valadas's Laércio Valverde was substituted for Takeshi Schims. In the 82nd minute, Hermínio Bomba made a precise shot to the right of Ethan Velazquez. Changsha FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Pritchett got free with Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ethan Velazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermínio Bomba in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baiardo Toyo in the 94th minute of play forced Valadas's goalkeeper Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laércio Valverde took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ethan Velazquez. Ethan Velazquez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0.
