With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luizinho Paranaense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th match minute, Juventus Telford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Liamthaisong to maneuver through the defense. Luizinho Paranaense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fellipe Lago in the 13th minute of play. Di Marinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Luizinho Paranaense made a huge save. José Liamthaisong took the corner. 39 minutes into the match, Barrenta SC's goal looked a bit too open when José Liamthaisong came free, but Patric Isaksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barrenta SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. José Liamthaisong was slow to take the kick. During this time Juventus Telford's players had a chance to rest. Patric Isaksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Liamthaisong in the 44th minute of the match. The wind increased when Kevin Hellkvist made the kick off in the second half.
