Spectators: 7476 (Terracing: 5608, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rick Grimes started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Jules Spinelli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cris Courtois was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Cris Courtois stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jules Spinelli's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Wambalamba FC's Cris Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jules Spinelli in the 12th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Wambalamba FC got a freekick which was hit by João Carlos Vianna. Cris Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jules Spinelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute Les 3 Quilles FC were awarded a corner. Aílton Zonta went to the cornerflag to take it. Aílton Zonta made a great header on Les 3 Quilles FC's corner, it was just that Wambalamba FC's Cris Courtois managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Finnman in the 21st minute of play forced Les 3 Quilles FC's goalkeeper Brúnó Tinódi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Jules Spinelli put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cris Courtois. Rick Grimes scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cris Courtois, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 32 minutes into the match, Les 3 Quilles FC's goalkeeper Brúnó Tinódi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Léo Souto. In the 35th minute, Jules Spinelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rick Grimes in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cris Courtois saved Wambalamba FC from getting behind. Brúnó Tinódi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Léo Souto went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 44th minute, Les 3 Quilles FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Léo Souto fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After the first half Les 3 Quilles FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Léo Souto made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Léo Souto in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brúnó Tinódi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aílton Zonta lost his temper 64 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A collision led to Les 3 Quilles FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Aílton Zonta hit a great ball. Brúnó Tinódi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Finnman in the 65th minute of play. Renato Civelli kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Les 3 Quilles FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juarês Donato came free, but Brúnó Tinódi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brúnó Tinódi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Carlos Vianna's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. In the 77thth minute of the game João Carlos Vianna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Les 3 Quilles FC's Brúnó Tinódi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brúnó Tinódi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juarês Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brúnó Tinódi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juarês Donato in the 81st minute of the match. Les 3 Quilles FC's Brúnó Tinódi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Finnman in the 83rd minute of play. Brúnó Tinódi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Carlos Vianna's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. The corner led Wambalamba FC's Brian Finnman to fire away a dangerous shot which Brúnó Tinódi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 90th minute of the game, Zbyszek Kapelski landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Helge Lindgren charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Helge Lindgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Les 3 Quilles FC's Renaud Parra was substituted for Zbyszek Kapelski. With a little luck, Wambalamba FC's Cris Courtois got control of the ball when Rick Grimes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brúnó Tinódi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Léo Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Les 3 Quilles FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Les 3 Quilles FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
