The audience was convinced that Moise Ţurlău's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Telo Meto was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. In the 41st match minute, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iulian Stroe to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Culcer kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Wolfwalkers F.C.'s Arnoldo Canor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valer Onișoru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Israel Ishmael charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Israel Ishmael the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca booed when Wolfwalkers F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Israel Ishmael didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moise Ţurlău made a kick off. Dacian Ghițescu hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Valer Onișoru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Kinnman. Christian Kinnman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Valer Onișoru came out and tried to block the shot, but Christian Kinnman slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 58th minute. Răzvan Paulică made in the 65th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Octavian Chiriacescu. 68 minutes into the match, Aquilino Luke notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Valer Onișoru. Valer Onișoru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 75th minute, Wolfwalkers F.C.'s Aquilino Luke ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valer Onișoru. Valer Onișoru yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. In the 78th minute, Fabricio Leoncio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabricio Leoncio hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Kinnman came free, but Valer Onișoru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aquilino Luke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valer Onișoru having to make a save. After 91 played minutes PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca got a freekick which was hit by Dacian Ghițescu. Christian Kinnman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Valer Onișoru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Kinnman in the 97th minute of play. When the match was over Wolfwalkers F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca throughout the match.
