In the 11th minute Aristides Domenec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Lisburn Distillery F.C. booed when FC VERSHINA’dnipro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Di Tommaso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, FC VERSHINA’dnipro's goalkeeper Charles-Antoine Carnevalli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eddie Wittingham. Eddie Wittingham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the match, FC VERSHINA’dnipro's goal looked a bit too open when Derek Findley came free, but Charles-Antoine Carnevalli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kostyantyn Migalevsjkyi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juvenal Moreira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Fernandinho Braga hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 44th match minute, Lisburn Distillery F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgil Van to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC VERSHINA’dnipro's Yu Ting Sang got a free kick in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eddie Wittingham stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 69 minutes into the match, FC VERSHINA’dnipro's goal looked a bit too open when Eddie Wittingham came free, but Charles-Antoine Carnevalli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute of the match Lisburn Distillery F.C. got a corner. Charles-Antoine Carnevalli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derek Findley in the 78th minute of the match. FC VERSHINA’dnipro's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adrian Ruddock ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Eddie Wittingham getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When Tommy Boyce fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s protests and gave Tommy Boyce a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yu Ting Sang during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Yu Ting Sang kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Charles-Antoine Carnevalli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddie Wittingham, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. A collision led to Lisburn Distillery F.C. getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Virgil Van hit a great ball. Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
