Victor Hugo Aimar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Goyeneta having to make a save. Carlos Goyeneta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Hugo Aimar in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in ￜDCￜ™KKS LECH 2006's zone, Sebastian Cresenciano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zygmunt Dziechciowski came out of the goal and Sebastian Cresenciano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zygmunt Dziechciowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Claude, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. A collision led to ￜDCￜ™KKS LECH 2006 getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Rogelio Frasco hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victor Hugo Aimar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th match minute, Gaviotas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Otsoa to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Victor Hugo Aimar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Goyeneta was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Hugo Aimar in the 76th minute of play forced Gaviotas FC's goalkeeper Carlos Goyeneta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th match minute, ￜDCￜ™KKS LECH 2006 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Kosowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute Gaviotas FC were awarded a corner. Solomon Campbell went to the cornerflag to take it. Gaviotas FC's Taco Huizinga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zygmunt Dziechciowski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Carlos Goyeneta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Hugo Aimar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the game, ￜDCￜ™KKS LECH 2006's Victor Hugo Aimar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Goyeneta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Filip Kosowski kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Solomon Campbell in the 94th minute of play forced ￜDCￜ™KKS LECH 2006's goalkeeper Zygmunt Dziechciowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Gaviotas FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ￜDCￜ™KKS LECH 2006 throughout the match.
