Mugurel Bleoancă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josemir Lujambio in the 27th minute of play. After some careless play in the Raureni Academy defense, Pastor Nofre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mugurel Bleoancă. The Raureni Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mugurel Bleoancă should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Raureni Academy getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Mircea Păun hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Raureni Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Josemir Lujambio came free, but Mugurel Bleoancă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mugurel Bleoancă, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Genílson Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Raureni Academy's Mugurel Bleoancă got control of the ball when Bonifacio Guib tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Mugurel Bleoancă successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Josemir Lujambio took a quick shot and it went in 0-13 without a chance for Mugurel Bleoancă to make any attempt to save it. Genílson Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Mugurel Bleoancă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mugurel Bleoancă was a little too slow when Vitor Tejedor got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-14. When Eufemio Yabbarov came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Atlético Argentino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eufemio Yabbarov couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Atlético Argentino left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Raureni Academy.
