After 5 played minutes Deportivo Mandiyu got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Andrae. 6 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mandiyu's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Kiszkiel came free, but Eulalio Bastian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Mandiyu's zone, Alfred Kiszkiel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eulalio Bastian came out of the goal and Alfred Kiszkiel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute, Emerson Fittipaldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flamengo CIMZ's goalkeeper Serafim Neiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. It was a well-played corner which Atilano Urtats managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Mandiyu's Zhu Bin Kun got a free kick in the 20th minute. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Mandiyu's Ðura Snob got a free kick in the 27th minute. Alfred Kiszkiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Bastian having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Zhu Bin Kun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Serafim Neiva was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Serafim Neiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zhu Bin Kun's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Emerson Fittipaldi got his second yellow card in the match during the 44th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zhu Bin Kun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Serafim Neiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhu Bin Kun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flamengo CIMZ's Serafim Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhu Bin Kun in the 62nd minute of play. Deportivo Mandiyu's Zhu Bin Kun got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Zhu Bin Kun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serafim Neiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Zhu Bin Kun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Serafim Neiva made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Zhu Bin Kun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Mandiyu's supporters rose to their feet, but Zhu Bin Kun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafim Neiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Flamengo CIMZ made a substitution. Aníbal Santana replaced Naldo Bezerra. Flamengo CIMZ's Tião Alcântara was substituted for Virgílio Paiva. Serafim Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Eyague, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chiquito Benítez got free with Serafim Neiva in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Flamengo CIMZ's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Chiquito Benítez 82 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. In the 89th minute Chiquito Benítez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafim Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aníbal Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Bastian having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Flamengo CIMZ's Alexandre Loyola seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alexandre Loyola the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Flamengo CIMZ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alexandre Loyola had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 93 minutes into the game, one of Flamengo CIMZ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A nice corner shot did that Ðura Snob got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Serafim Neiva quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Deportivo Mandiyu had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
