David Seaman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markus Van Bombergen in the 8th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Markus Van Bombergen in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Seaman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Bolli Kant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonjo Shelvey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Cederik Huts made a huge save. Niclas Vase hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. David Seaman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markus Van Bombergen in the 23rd minute of the match. After having played for 24 minutes, Bolli Kant managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Linghed Angels FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bolli Kant was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Linghed Angels FC's Rickard Svensson got a free kick in the 28th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bolli Kant got free with Cederik Huts in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the match, Kickers United's goalkeeper Cederik Huts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonjo Shelvey. In the 36th match minute, Linghed Angels FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timmy Finsberg to maneuver through the defense. David Seaman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dylan Verhaert, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The audience was convinced that Romain Van Achteren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Seaman was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. After 42 played minutes Kickers United got a freekick which was hit by Blas Lertxun. 45 minutes into the match, Linghed Angels FC's Jörgen Magnusson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cederik Huts narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

With a little luck, Linghed Angels FC's David Seaman got control of the ball when Dino Maquiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Kickers United's Dino Maquiano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of David Seaman. That made the score 0-1 after 51 minutes of play. Cederik Huts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörgen Magnusson, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Kickers United's goal looked a bit too open when Bolli Kant came free, but Cederik Huts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bolli Kant hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Anton Pilblad hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Kickers United's Kenny Van Den Eynden was substituted for Dylan Verhaert. David Seaman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdzislaw Radzyminski in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonjo Shelvey in the 76th minute of play forced Kickers United's goalkeeper Cederik Huts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Seaman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Markus Van Bombergen in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Linghed Angels FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zdzislaw Radzyminski came free, but David Seaman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Lertxun in the 85th minute of play forced Linghed Angels FC's goalkeeper David Seaman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute of the match, Dino Maquiano got a very nice opportunity to score, but David Seaman was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The Kickers United supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kickers United would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
