Gernando Paes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilson Perez in the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, Antonio Di Natale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Wágner Carneiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 61st minute, Edu Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal.
