With his leg Lucas Chagas managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Hílton Penha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 12 minutes Jumeuc Futebol Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gogo Tancredo who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Gogo Tancredo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Teodoro Ferraz did a great save. When Gogo Tancredo came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the C.A. Línea Rotativa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gogo Tancredo couldn't finish the play. Teodoro Ferraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Eguntsenti in the 20th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Douglas Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, C.A. Línea Rotativa's Astor Eguntsenti got a free kick in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Adelino Saldanha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lucas Chagas, 1-0. After a rather tough play, C.A. Línea Rotativa's Gogo Tancredo got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute Astor Eguntsenti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Ferraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.A. Línea Rotativa's Astor Eguntsenti got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Astor Eguntsenti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Vladimiro Udalaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Línea Rotativa's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimiro Udalaitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodoro Ferraz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 47 minutes into the match, C.A. Línea Rotativa's Severo Larra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teodoro Ferraz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Astor Eguntsenti to make the kick off. Astor Eguntsenti struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Teodoro Ferraz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Línea Rotativa. After a rather tough play, Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Falcão Soeiro got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Samuel Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Teodoro Ferraz came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. Línea Rotativa's Astor Eguntsenti. But to his dismay, Astor Eguntsenti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 67th minute, C.A. Línea Rotativa's Rolando Pasqual dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Lucas Chagas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeu Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 76thth minute of the game Tadeu Prestes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. Línea Rotativa's Lucas Chagas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. C.A. Línea Rotativa's Rolando Pasqual got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Rolando Pasqual got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 93rd minute of the match, Rolando Pasqual got a very nice opportunity to score, but Teodoro Ferraz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Rolando Pasqual sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over C.A. Línea Rotativa could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Jumeuc Futebol Clube throughout the match.
