An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Amaral in the 2nd minute of play forced Portus Ganda's goalkeeper Tony Vanbuyten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 3 minutes, Iwo Fafinski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Kasteelheren and the Portus Ganda players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, De Kasteelheren's Iwo Fafinski got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the match, Portus Ganda's goal looked a bit too open when Harold Rodenboog came free, but Tony Vanbuyten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tony Vanbuyten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harold Rodenboog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tony Vanbuyten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdi Vorenkamp in the 6th minute of play. Tony Vanbuyten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdi Vorenkamp in the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Amaral in the 10th minute of play forced Portus Ganda's goalkeeper Tony Vanbuyten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Portus Ganda's goal looked a bit too open when Harold Rodenboog came free, but Tony Vanbuyten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, De Kasteelheren's Fokke Meijeringh got control of the ball when Davi Sanches tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tony Vanbuyten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdi Vorenkamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Inácio Amaral put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tony Vanbuyten. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind De Kasteelheren's goalkeeper Fokke Meijeringh, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tony Vanbuyten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harold Rodenboog, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. With a little luck, De Kasteelheren's Fokke Meijeringh got control of the ball when Davi Sanches tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute Ferdi Vorenkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Vanbuyten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdi Vorenkamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Dominic Kindt came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Portus Ganda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dominic Kindt couldn't finish the play. Davi Sanches recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Davi Sanches received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Fokke Meijeringh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the game, De Kasteelheren's Harold Rodenboog nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tony Vanbuyten made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 47 minutes into the match, Portus Ganda's goal looked a bit too open when Harold Rodenboog came free, but Tony Vanbuyten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half De Kasteelheren were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Inácio Amaral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Inácio Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Dominic Kindt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Portus Ganda made a substitution. Joonatan Van Landewijck replaced Dominic Kindt. 63 minutes into the match, Portus Ganda's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdi Vorenkamp came free, but Tony Vanbuyten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tony Vanbuyten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdi Vorenkamp in the 63rd minute of play. Inácio Amaral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tony Vanbuyten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute Portus Ganda were awarded a corner. Jüri Djorkaeff went to the cornerflag to take it. 71 minutes into the match, Portus Ganda's Davi Sanches sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fokke Meijeringh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, De Kasteelheren's Ferdi Vorenkamp ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tony Vanbuyten. Tony Vanbuyten yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Fokke Meijeringh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davi Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Tony Vanbuyten successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. De Kasteelheren were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Portus Ganda's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fernando Geraets took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Fernando Geraets got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tony Vanbuyten quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tony Vanbuyten came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by De Kasteelheren's Harold Rodenboog. But to his dismay, Harold Rodenboog quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. A collision led to De Kasteelheren getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Daniel van Zwieten hit a great ball. Joonatan Van Landewijck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fokke Meijeringh having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Fernando Geraets hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of De Kasteelheren booed when Portus Ganda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jüri Djorkaeff didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tony Vanbuyten didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Harold Rodenboog went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Davi Sanches received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Fokke Meijeringh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
