In the 10th minute, San Pablo FC's Gurbax Gascon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Epifanio Iratzeder. Epifanio Iratzeder yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Gurbax Gascon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Epifanio Iratzeder was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. 16 minutes into the match, San Pablo FC's Gurbax Gascon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Epifanio Iratzeder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 23 minutes into the game, Jacinto Baumar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barsa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Pablo FC the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, Barsa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Baumar to maneuver through the defense. Gurbax Gascon might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Epifanio Iratzeder. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gurbax Gascon ran back to his position shaking his head. Epifanio Iratzeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gurbax Gascon in the 29th minute of play. Andy Hauser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Leguizamón in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Guillelme in the 43rd minute of play forced San Pablo FC's goalkeeper Andy Hauser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santos Guillelme took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andy Hauser. Andy Hauser dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 46 minutes into the match, Barsa FC's goalkeeper Epifanio Iratzeder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gurbax Gascon. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santos Guillelme to make the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Andy Hauser successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gurbax Gascon in the 55th minute of play forced Barsa FC's goalkeeper Epifanio Iratzeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. San Pablo FC's Andy Hauser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Leguizamón in the 56th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Barsa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gurbax Gascon came free, but Epifanio Iratzeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gurbax Gascon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gurbax Gascon in the 62nd minute of play forced Barsa FC's goalkeeper Epifanio Iratzeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Epifanio Iratzeder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gurbax Gascon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Santos Guillelme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The San Pablo FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Barsa FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
