In the 5th minute, Wilber Padgett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jon Matsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Griggs in the 8th minute of play. Derrick Osborne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon Matsson having to interfere. In the 13th minute Derrick Osborne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Matsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Lonnie Chassé had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jon Matsson. Nykvarn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lonnie Chassé was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 17th minute, Charles Griggs made a precise shot to the right of Jon Matsson. Nykvarn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 20th minute, Marshrose's Charles Griggs ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jon Matsson. Jon Matsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Nykvarn's Jon Matsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Nykvarn from getting a goal against them. Jon Matsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Charles Griggs showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 7-0 in the 28 minute of play. Lonnie Chassé took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jon Matsson. Jon Matsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Nykvarn's Jon Matsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Derrick Osborne in the 35th minute of play. Marshrose's Lonnie Chassé got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nykvarn's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Derrick Osborne 37 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 9-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lonnie Chassé in the 40th minute of play forced Nykvarn's goalkeeper Jon Matsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Nykvarn's Jon Matsson got control of the ball when Lonnie Chassé tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jon Matsson was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Lonnie Chassé capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lonnie Chassé really showed his touch with that goal: 10-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lawrence Hopson was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Lawrence Hopson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marshrose fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. In the 60th minute, Lonnie Chassé ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jon Matsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 14-0. In the 63rd minute Lawrence Hopson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Matsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jon Matsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derrick Osborne, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Lonnie Chassé notched a goal, 16-0, to the right of Nykvarn's Jon Matsson. Jon Matsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Nykvarn's Jonas Erserman got a free kick in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the game, Marshrose's Lonnie Chassé nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jon Matsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 17-0. Jon Matsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Derrick Osborne went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 18-0 was the resulting score. Jon Matsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lawrence Hopson in the 84th minute of play. Lonnie Chassé sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Charles Griggs scored 19-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jon Matsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jon Matsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lawrence Hopson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Nykvarn getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Jens-Ove Holmberg hit a great ball. If Derrick Osborne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Lawrence Hopson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Matsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th match minute, Marshrose was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Cortez to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Marshrose fully deserved thier win.
